Job Description:
We are looking for a talented and creative Content Writer - Kannada to join our agriculture-focused YouTube team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating engaging and informative content in Kannada, recording voice-overs or on-screen narration, and assisting the editing team to produce high-quality videos. This is a work-from-office role, where you'll play a key role in crafting content that educates, informs, and entertains the farming community and agriculture enthusiasts.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Creation:
* Research and write compelling, accurate, and engaging scripts in Kannada for agriculture-related topics.
* Develop content ideas and themes that align with the channel\'s focus on farming, sustainable practices, crop management, and rural livelihoods.
* Ensure the content is educational yet entertaining, catering to the needs of farmers and agricultural audiences.
Recording & Voice-Over:
* Record voice-overs or narrate content in Kannada for YouTube videos as required.
* Ensure clarity, proper pronunciation, and a professional tone during recording to maintain viewer engagement.
Collaboration with Editing Team:
* Assist the video editing team by providing inputs on script execution, content flow, and visual representation.
* Ensure that the final output aligns with the script, and help with the review process to maintain high content quality.
Research & Content Adaptation:
* Stay updated with the latest trends, news, and advancements in the agriculture industry, and incorporate them into the content.
* Adapt content based on feedback from the team and audience to improve quality and relevance.
Content Strategy & Planning:
* Participate in brainstorming sessions to plan upcoming content, identify trending topics, and suggest creative ideas for video scripts.
* Manage deadlines effectively and ensure timely delivery of content for production.
Requirements:
* Fluent in Kannada, with excellent writing, speaking, and editing skills.
* Previous experience in content writing, scriptwriting, or journalism (preferably in agriculture or related fields).
* Strong interest in agriculture, rural development, and sustainable farming practices.
* Basic knowledge of content creation for digital platforms (YouTube experience is a plus).
* Ability to work with the editing team to deliver visually appealing and informative videos.
* Good understanding of video content formats, storytelling, and audience engagement.
* Proficiency in MS Office and basic scriptwriting tools.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
