Job Summary: The Junior E-Commerce Manager will assist in the management and optimization of our e-commerce platforms. This role involves supporting the day-to-day operations, monitoring performance, implementing marketing initiatives, and enhancing the customer experience. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of e-commerce and digital marketing, and a willingness to learn and grow within the role.
Key Responsibilities:
* E-Commerce Platform Support:
* Assist in managing and updating e-commerce platforms, including product listings, website content, and promotions.
* Monitor and report on website performance, sales metrics, and customer behavior.
* Digital Marketing Assistance:
* Support the execution of digital marketing campaigns, including email marketing, social media, and paid advertising.
* Help create and schedule content for social media and other marketing channels.
* Content and Product Management:
* Aid in the creation and updating of product descriptions, images, and pricing.
* Ensure product information is accurate and aligns with brand standards.
* Customer Experience:
* Assist in managing customer inquiries, returns, and feedback.
* Contribute to improving the overall online shopping experience.
* Analytics and Reporting:
* Track and compile data on e-commerce performance, including sales, conversion rates, and traffic.
* Prepare basic reports and identify trends for review by senior team members.
* Vendor and Partner Coordination:
* Help coordinate with third-party vendors and partners, such as payment processors and logistics providers.
* Assist with contract management and ensure service delivery meets expectations.
* Administrative Support:
* Provide administrative support to the e-commerce team, including scheduling meetings, organizing files, and tracking project progress.
* Participate in team meetings and contribute to strategy discussions.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor\'s degree in Marketing, Business, E-Commerce, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
* 1-2 years of experience in e-commerce, digital marketing, or a related field is preferred but not required.
* Basic understanding of e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento) and web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
* Familiarity with digital marketing concepts, including SEO, PPC, and email marketing.
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative attitude.
Preferred Skills:
* Experience with content management systems (CMS) and social media management tools.
* Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS or website design principles.
* Enthusiasm for learning and adapting to new technologies and strategies.
