Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced eCommerce Developer to build, maintain, and enhance eCommerce platforms, providing seamless online shopping experiences. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in developing eCommerce websites and integrating third-party services to optimize performance, security, and scalability.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain eCommerce websites using platforms such as Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, or BigCommerce.
* Customize front-end and back-end components to meet business requirements.
* Implement responsive design principles to ensure mobile and desktop compatibility.
* Integrate third-party tools such as payment gateways, shipping systems, and marketing platforms.
* Optimize website performance for speed, SEO, and overall user experience.
* Manage database integrations, product catalogs, and inventory systems.
* Troubleshoot issues, provide ongoing maintenance, and ensure platform stability.
* Collaborate with design and marketing teams to enhance website functionality and user engagement.
* Stay updated on the latest trends in eCommerce technologies and best practices.
Skills and Qualifications:
* Proven experience with at least one eCommerce platform (e.g., Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, BigCommerce).
* Proficiency in front-end technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript (React or Vue.js preferred).
* Back-end development skills: PHP, Node.js, or other relevant programming languages.
* Familiarity with database management: MySQL, PostgreSQL, or other database technologies.
* Experience with API integrations, including payment gateways, shipping services, and CRM systems.
* Understanding of SEO principles, performance optimization, and web security practices.
* Ability to work in an Agile/Scrum environment and collaborate across teams.
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
