Job Purpose
To strategically align Lawson Fuses in the Low Voltage electrical marketplace by understanding the market dynamics and creating a vision for growth.
Working with the Lawson Fuses global commercial team you will develop an understanding of the competitive marketplace in terms of competition, pricing and product portfolios whilst executing marketing content and campaigns across multi channels to grow brand awareness, engage with stakeholders and contribute to the growth of the business.

Job Context
Lawson Fuses is a business that is going through a period of exciting change.
With a growing sales force the company needs to develop a strategy for growth to take the business to the next level, the Marketing Manager will be at the forefront of this and will help guide the sales team in the right direction.
Lawson Fuses has manufacturing sites in the UK and India with a commercial team situated in several key locations where growth potential has been determined.
Lawson Fuses are part of Lucy Group which consists of two other electrical biased divisions, the role holder will need to work closely with the marketing teams in these divisions to achieve a common message for the marketplace on what the businesses can offer.
Job Dimensions
This role reports to the UK & International Sales Manager, you will lead the development and implementation of the marketing strategy for the business.
This role requires an outstanding communicator and an exceptional team player who can form close working relationships with the Lawson Fuses commercial team, R&D team, and other key contacts within Lawson Fuses, along with our customers and suppliers.
Key activities include;
* Creating a vison for the growth of the business
* Developing route to market strategies
* Analysing competitors and their activities
* Understand market pricing and positioning
* Defining the required product portfolios to enable growth
Based in India with the flexibility to be home based but travel will be needed to the India facility when required. Global travel will also be required to support the commercial team and host exhibitions and seminars.
This will be a full-time role.
Key Accountabilities
These will include:
* Carry out SWOT analysis to understand what is needed to grow the business
* Develop a range of USP\'s to promote Lawson Fuses
* Understand current product branding and develop new ideas to gain brand establishment
* Conduct pricing analysis v competitors
* Market intelligence gathering – products, customers, etc.
* Competitor Analysis – market share, product portfolios, market presence etc.
* Understand and develop the best processes for lead generation
* Understand and implement product launches
* Product packaging and presentation
* Develop suitable presentations for the commercial team
* New marketing materials to promote the Lawson Fuses brand – catalogues, flyers, data, stationery
* Event and exhibition material development and show management
* Email Marketing – promotions, offers etc.
* Update and manage social media platforms
* Manage and update the Lawson Fuses website
* Advertising approach to gain best coverage for the Lawson brand
* Customer Service approach – communication – training of team
Qualifications, Experience & Skills
* 4+ years of relevant marketing experience in Marcom\'s type roles
* Experience in working in a manufacturing environment, specifically the electrical (circuit protection) would be a major advantage
* Experience of promotions and launching of new products
* Experience of setting up and managing exhibitions and shows, able to provide the correct artwork and documents
* Strong working knowledge of latest marketing communication practices.
* Experience in digital marketing
* Exceptional organisational and time management skills.
* Strong computer skills with high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office & digital platforms (LinkedIn, WordPress, Adobe Illustrator etc.)
* Excellent interpersonal and business communication skills.
* High level of initiative with the ability to self-motivate.
* Works well independently and in team settings.
* Good written and spoken English
* Ability to travel globally
* Able to work effectively with people from different cultures / backgrounds
