Job Description
Responsibilities:
● Own and manage the annual SEM budget including day-to-day channel performance and the strategic roadmap of all paid search marketing and organic marketing efforts
● Identify opportunities for optimization and expansion, and see through to implementation
● Establish media goals, objectives, strategies, and tactics for an advertising campaign
● Keep up-to-date with industry and publisher innovations (ie: beta offerings), conference insights, publisher certifications, negative news, and any other changes that affect media campaigns
● Continuously audit account to identify areas for growth and innovate regularly
● Collaborate with the creative team to influence the image and video content for designated channels and ads
● Launch, analyze, optimize, and manage paid search across campaigns multiple accounts
● Create reporting that effectively communicates insights and recommendations to all levels across the organization
● Create campaign components including keywords, copy, landing page selection, account structure, audience targeting, etc. with manager oversight
● Compile, analyze, and provide insight into weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad hoc reports
● Create content topics, proof content developed by the creative team, and add content to websites for SEO.
Qualifications:
● Bachelor's degree, relevant courses, and/or internships preferred
● 4-6+ years of direct experience running paid search and/or organic search engine optimization campaigns
● Proficiency with MS Office with intermediate to advanced Excel skills (ie: graphs, pivot tables, lookups, web queries, and other formulas)
● Proficiency with the English language for both written and verbal use
● Conversant with all SEM platforms, technology, and processes
● Experience with A/B and multivariate testing to optimize and improve performance for digital channels
● Analytical approach to performance marketing and decision making
● Experience working cross-functionally within an organization; ability to communicate overarching site goals
● Critical-thinking skills and the ability to identify interesting trends in data to develop key takeaways and recommendations
● Independent, energetic, highly technical, and capable of driving for results under pressure and ambiguity
● Comfortable working in a very collaborative, creative, fast-paced, and agile environment
● Rigorous creative testing methodology and ability to communicate findings to the in-house creative team in a way that leverages creativity to improve channel performance
Must speak & write English fluidly, must have a personal computer and access to reliable internet. Must have software access for programs needed for the job description. The ability to work in various time zones is a plus.
