Social media manager

Role Overview:
We are seeking a creative and strategic Social Media Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will develop, implement, and manage our social media strategy to increase our online presence, engage with our community, and promote healthy aging initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with the foundation\'s goals.
* Create, curate, and manage engaging content across all social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.).
* Monitor and respond to social media interactions, comments, and messages in a timely and professional manner.
* Analyze social media metrics and insights to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and make data-driven decisions.
* Collaborate with the communications team to ensure brand consistency and develop cohesive marketing campaigns.
* Organize and promote online events, webinars, and live sessions to engage the community and raise awareness about healthy aging.
* Work with graphic designers, videographers, and other creatives to produce high-quality visual content. Manage social media advertising campaigns to boost reach and engagement.
* Build and maintain relationships with influencers, partners, and stakeholders to amplify the foundation\'s message.
* Prepare monthly reports on social media performance and present findings to the leadership team.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor\'s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
* Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in social media management, preferably in the non-profit or healthcare sector.
* Proven track record of developing and executing successful social media campaigns.
* Fluency in English and Tamil.
Skills:
* Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative content ideas. Proficiency in using social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social).
* Knowledge of social media analytics tools and ability to interpret data. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Passion for healthy aging and commitment to the foundation\'s mission.
Additional Requirements:
Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus. Video editing skills are an advantage. Familiarity with SEO and web traffic metrics.
