Key Responsibilities
Develop, Implement, and Manage Social Media Strategy:
* Define social media goals aligned with WEDO's business objectives.
* Identify and analyse target audience demographics and behaviours.
* Conduct competitor analysis to identify opportunities and trends.
* Select appropriate social media platforms to reach our audience effectively.
* Establish content themes and topics that resonate with our brand and audience.
* Set measurable objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Create and Manage Social Media Content:
* Develop engaging content, including text posts, images, and videos, tailored for Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other platforms.
* Maintain a content calendar to ensure consistent and timely posting.
* Utilize tools like Canva, Adobe Spark, and Photoshop for high-quality content creation.
* Leverage Instagram and Facebook Stories for real-time engagement.
Engage with Followers and Monitor Feedback:
* Respond promptly to comments, messages, and mentions.
* Foster community building by encouraging discussions, asking questions, and creating polls.
* Monitor customer feedback and address concerns professionally.
Collaborate with Other Departments:
* Work with marketing to align social media campaigns with broader initiatives.
* Share insights from social media to support the sales team.
* Coordinate with customer service to handle inquiries and complaints.
Stay Updated with Best Practices:
* Keep abreast of the latest social media trends, tools, and technologies.
* Participate in industry webinars, forums, and read relevant blogs.
Monitor SEO and Web Traffic Metrics:
* Use analytics tools like Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, and Twitter Analytics to track performance.
* Ensure social media efforts align with SEO strategies to drive organic traffic.
Analyze Data and Report on Performance:
* Regularly review analytics to measure the success of campaigns.
* Identify areas for improvement and adjust strategies accordingly.
* Create detailed monthly/quarterly reports to share with stakeholders.
Manage Social Media Advertising Campaigns:
* Plan and allocate budgets for social media ads.
* Utilize advanced targeting options to reach the desired audience.
* Monitor ad performance and make necessary adjustments.
Qualifications
* Bachelor\'s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
* Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role.
* Strong understanding of social media platforms, tools, and best practices.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Proficiency in content creation tools like Canva, Adobe Spark, and Photoshop.
* Experience with social media analytics and reporting tools.
* Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
