Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and creative Social Media Manager/Producer to oversee our social media presence and content strategy. The ideal candidate will be passionate about storytelling, highly organized, and adept at producing engaging content across various social media platforms.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy to increase brand awareness and engagement.
* Create compelling and visually appealing content, including graphics, videos, and written posts, that aligns with brand voice and objectives.
* Manage all social media accounts, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn and YouTube.
* Monitor social media channels for trends, opportunities, and customer feedback, and respond promptly and appropriately.
* Collaborate with internal teams to generate content ideas, coordinate campaigns, and ensure consistency across channels.
* Analyze social media performance metrics and use insights to optimize content strategy and drive results.
* Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices, and recommend innovative approaches to reach target audiences.
* Engage with followers and foster a sense of community by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
* Work closely with influencers, partners, and other stakeholders to amplify brand messaging and reach new audiences.
* Monitor and manage social media advertising campaigns, including budget allocation, targeting, and performance tracking.
Requirements and skills:
* Bachelor\'s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field.
* Proven experience managing social media accounts and producing content for a brand or organization.
* Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
* Proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) and video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
* Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.
* Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and brand building.
* Experience with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social) is a plus.
* Knowledge of SEO and SEM principles is a plus.
